Hlanganani Preparatory School celebrated Youth Day last week.
This year marks 46 years since the 1976 student uprising.
At a special assembly learners performed different items, such as praise poetry, dance and an anti-bullying play as part of the day’s programme.
“We want our learners to identify themselves as proudly South African,” said Nomnotho Zulu who was the main organiser.
Youth Day is not just a holiday but something to always remember and respect.
The assembly ended with the School song and the National anthem.
