Multiple vehicle collision in Umzinto results in two fatalities

Four vehicles were involved in the collision.

Umzinto Saps is investigating a case of culpable homicide after two lives were claimed on the R612, Umzinto on June 26 at about 18:00.

According to police, four vehicles were involved in the collision near Ellingham.

“The injured were treated by paramedics at the scene and later transported to hospital for further treatment,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Adam Francis.

The case is being investigated by Constable Sa Khabela of Umzinto Detective Service.
