‘Purrfect’ day as feline beauties find new homes
The non-profit organisation is making a difference in the lives of feral cats on the coast.
Small Paws on the Coast, a non-profit company, recently combined with Absolute Pets to hold an adoption day at the Southcoast Mall.
The stand gave people the opportunity to adopt a cat or kitten, donate food towards Small Paws on the Coast, or spoil the cats with affection and love.
Caroline Botes and Adina Bekker teamed up to start Small Paws on the Coast, to give feral cats a voice.
They are also working hand-in-hand with the Lower South Coast SPCA to ensure the colonies are under control and cared for.
The main aim is to trap, spay/neuter and release the cats back to their colony.
Adina thanked all those who supported the adoption day, saying it was great way to educate the public.
