Electricity restored in Marburg

Repairs to substation were completed on Wednesday night.

Electricity had been fully restored in the Marburg area after a substation exploded on Tuesday afternoon.

Eskom spokesperson, Joyce Zingoni confirmed on Thursday morning that technicians worked around the clock to ensure that the power was restored on Wednesday afternoon.

Zingoni said; “All customers were back on last night.”
