Sheppie High experiences ‘puppy love’
Interact Committee members helped to take care of the felines and canines.
As they are passionate about community work, Port Shepstone High School’s Interact Committee visited the Lower South Coast SPCA, where they donated a sum of R6180 as well as food items on behalf of the school recently.
Committee members helped to take care of the felines and canines, and ended the day off with some ‘puppy love’ as they got to caress the animals.
The school’s Ensemble members participated in Talent Africa, a national competition held last year.
Last week, after months of anticipation, the Sheppie Ensemble, under the direction of Alu Mbewana, discovered that they had brought home gold and a trophy for first place in the country for their outstanding performance.
Grade 11 Business Studies learners held their annual market day last Friday. They sold an assortment of delicious goodies and really showed off their entrepreneurial skills, some selling out within a few minutes of opening.
