Bold GAC Emkoo is exceptional
Does the GAC Emkoo offer more compared to other leading brands? Yes, it does.
My latest test vehicle was the GAC Emkoo. GAC refers to Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. Ltd which is a Chinese car manufacturer.
I haven’t seen any of the GAC brands locally, nor have many South Coasters.
Nonetheless, the GAC Emkoo redefines driving experience by combining technological innovation with a bold and elegant design and comes in two variants, the Emkoo Executive and Executive Plus.
The Emkoo has the perfect ride height and ground clearance, offering a commanding view of your surroundings. It is also equipped with the latest safety and entertainment features and offers exceptional performance.
I found it luxurious and spacious. The interior is comfortable, making every trip enjoyable. The Emkoo is not just an SUV, it’s a statement of sophistication and technological advancement, designed for those who demand the best in every aspect of life at a much lower price tag. I say this because it was fun to drive with no hiccups.
The Emkoo has 235/55 R19 tires, electric hidden door handles, LED headlights with height adjustment, power side mirror, rain sensing front windscreen wipers, sunroof with electric sunshade, USB ports, cup and bottle holders front and rear, and a versatile 638-litre capacity boot behind a power tailgate, and much more. With all these features, the GAC is also priced right compared to others brands.
There’s no GAC dealership on the South Coast as yet, however, the brand has established a significant presence in South Africa.
