Man dies after bush knife attack
Police arrested a 36-year-old man in connection with the murder.
Police at Southport Saps were called out to a local hospital recently, after a 32-year-old man who was being treated for severe lacerations allegedly caused during a bush knife attack, had died.
Police spokesperson, Captain Petros Mpinge said a 36-year-old man was arrested by police on Monday last week.
“He appeared in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court last Tuesday on a charge of murder. The case was postponed for further investigation and he remains in police custody.”
It is believed that the incident occurred in Southport.
