Scottburgh Saps appeals to the public not to buy stolen property as this is a crime and in turn, encourages more criminal activity.
“Purchasing stolen property is a criminal offence and we ask the public to inform the Saps of persons dealing with stolen property,” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Adam Francis.
These crimes are to be reported to either your nearest police station, Crime Stop on 086 0010111 or the MySAPS app.
People are also reminded to report anyone displaying suspicious behaviour in public.
