Police responded to the scene of a shooting in Palm View last Friday at about 20:00 where they found a 13-year-old boy who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
Police spokesperson Captain Petros Mpinge said that an inquest docket has been opened for investigation.
No foul play is suspected.
