Drug dealers nabbed
Margate Station Commander, Brigadier William Slabbert commended the team for the swift arrests and applauded the community for reporting the criminal activity.
Margate Saps recently made two arrests after its drug team team received information on drug dealing at Masinenge Informal Settlement.
Police followed a lead and found two men, aged 24 and 36, in possession of drugs last Sunday.
Margate Saps spokesperson, Sergeant Sibu Ncane said they were arrested and charged.
“The drugs were confiscated and the men appeared in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court,” said Ncane.
