Human trafficking case postponed

The case was postponed to next week.

The bail application for four people who allegedly trafficked a baby began in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court on Monday this week.

Two women, aged 30 and 40, and two men, aged 39 and 41, are facing charges of human trafficking.

The four pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Investigating officer, Warrant-Officer Michelle van Niekerk of the Margate Saps Detective Service opposed bail.

The case was postponed to next week.
