South Coast roads have been struck by a recent spate of accidents.
Med-Evac responded to a single-vehicle accident between Melville and Pumula last Saturday evening.
Glen Preston of Med-Evac said the driver was injured after he lost control of his vehicle while trying to avoid a buck running across the road.
“The vehicle rolled, ending up on its roof. The driver was treated on scene before being taken to hospital,” he said.
Last Saturday, two vehicles collided at an intersection in Shelly Beach. No serious injuries were reported.
On the same day, Med-Evac responded to an accident on the P200 (near Pure Venom).
Ten people had minor injuries. One person was taken to hospital.
Last Thursday afternoon, Preston said 10 people were injured after a collision between two vehicles at the Rethman Drive intersection in Umtentweni.
Med-Evac together with other services took the injured to various medical facilities.
