Southport police investigate multiple fraud cases

The accused was charged on March 5 for three counts of fraud.

At least three separate cases of fraud have been opened at Southport Saps after a 34-year-old man allegedly conned complainants out of substantial amounts of money in 2025.

It is alleged that the man failed to fix motor vehicles brought to him for repairs and did not reimburse the complainants or return their calls.

The accused was charged on March 5 for three counts of fraud and is expected to appear in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court on April 9.
