Port Shepstone Regional Court jails child rapist for life

Nkululeko Wonderboy Ntuli's details will also be entered in the National Register of Sex Offenders.

After a lengthy trial, Nkululeko Wonderboy Ntuli (36), was finally sentenced in the Port Shepstone Regional Court on June 25 for the rape of a 10-year-old child in the KwaNzimakwe area.

Ntuli, who remained in police custody during his trial, was sentenced to life imprisonment and declared unfit to possess a firearm.

The child refused to go to school as Ntuli would force her to his room on her way back from school and rape her. The child opened up to a relative who immediately took action. This took place on May 26, 2021.

In addition, his details will be entered in the National Register of Sex Offenders and he was also declared unfit to work with children.

The investigating officer was Detective Constable Tembile Sengane of the Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit.
