Harding man nabbed with unlicensed pistol
He will be profiled to determine if he can be linked to other cases including armed robbery.
Harding task team members acted on information regarding a man who threatened the community using a firearm.
Police proceeded to the identified house at Mazakhele Phase 1 on July 23, where they requested permission to conduct a lawful search, recovering a 7.65 pistol.
A 38-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm.
He will be profiled to determine if he can be linked to other cases, including armed robbery.
He appeared in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court on July 24, where he was released on R1000 bail. His next court appearance is on September 28.
