Port Shepstone is excited to announce the opening of the Boy Scouts Group.
The 1st Port Shepstone Boy Scouts is excited to announce an open day at the Girl Guide and Boy Scout Hall at 29 Mitchell Drive, Port Shepstone on Saturday, August 20 at 09:00.
“We are hoping to revive the first Port Shepstone Boy Scouts Group and are looking for volunteers, sponsors, parents and ex-Scouters to support us. Anyone willing to help should contact one of the Scout leaders for more information on the progress thus far, and further needs to officially start the programme,” said Scout group leader Ronald Mark.
The Scouts and Cubs will be sharing premises with the Girl Guides in Mitchell Road, Port Shepstone.

70th anniversary
Jai Hind Primary School will celebrate its 70th anniversary at Hi Land International Convention Centre at 1 Ravine Lane, Umbango this Saturday (13th) at 18:00.
The celebrations start off with a glittering dinner and dance. High profile guests will be in attendance and treated to a night of good food, dazzling entertainment and music provided by Trinity.

Fun day
St Martin de Porres School is hosting a family fun day at the school grounds on Saturday, August 20 from 07:00.
It’s a fun-filled day for the whole family with events such as a fun run/walk/stroll. Fun walk entry is R40 for adults and R20 for children. There will be loads of entertainment. Entry to the grounds is R10.

Show your support and make Port Shepstone great again by working with the Tidy Towns Port Shepstone team, to make the beachfront safe again.
The team is doing amazing work. Join the beachfront clean-up campaign and help subsidise cleaning staff for a day or even a week at R150 per day per person which includes a hot meal.
