Laqhakaza Iphara Recovery together with Umdoni Youth Office will be hosting an addiction awareness campaign at the Umzinto Town Hall on Friday, August 26 from 09:00 to 12:00.
People who are dealing with addictions and seek recovery are invited.
“If you are serious about saving your life and want to help yourself and your family, we will help you,” said Emmanuel Msomi, founder of the recovery organisation.
Later that day, the organisation will host a Women’s Month celebration at Scottburgh’s LP Cafe from 18:00.
Several local artists, DJs, motivational speakers, poets and storytellers will be in attendance.
Formalities are expected to run between 18:00 to 20:00.
