Support Gamlakhe non-profit’s fundraiser
The community is urged to come in their numbers to support the initiative that will be held in Gamalakhe on October 4.
The community of Gamalakhe and surrounds is invited to a fundraising clothing flea market hosted by Noah’s Ark Ministries, a non-profit-organisation at Gamalakhe ZG Community Hall on Tuesday, October 4 from 10:00.
The founder, Irene Myingwa said the market is to raise much-needed funds for the daily running of the NPO.
Since 2018 Noah’s Ark Ministries has been conducting moral regeneration programmes in local primary and high schools, working with various stakeholders such as the Saps, the departments of social development, health and education.
All the stakeholders will be in attendance to share and explain the roles they have played since their involvement.
“Our NPO has been instilling moral values, dealing with spiritual aspects of growing up in South Africa, assisting school dropouts, fighting crime and creating awareness on teenage pregnancy. All of this was funded by the committee members,” Myingwa added.
She said items on sale will be priced low as the aim is not to sell, but to collect money for a worthy cause.
“We are currently busy with building plans for phase one of our property and our priority is to start by fencing the site which was given to us by Inkosi Mavundla.
“We are hoping that the community comes out in its numbers to support this initiative,” she added
