Hate Speech attracts international interest
The Rock Fest Ramsgate will provide original, hard core music.
Hardcore metal band Hate Speech, from Southport, has begun to make waves internationally.
The group’s debut album ‘Fear the Truth’, released in December last year, is currently performing well on Spotify and reaching global audiences.
Latest single ‘Rise’, released early last month, is currently number one (at the time of writing) on the Doors Rock Radio Top 20 charts for alternative/metal music.
Hate Speech will perform at the Rock Fest Ramsgate at Rocky Ridge Bar and Music Festival in Ramsgate on Saturday, October 8, where the band will officially launch ‘Fear the Truth’.
This event is being organised by Durban Rock City and will feature the best alternative/metal bands the province has to offer.
The line up includes DJ Acid Reign (alternative DJ), The Southport (indie), Poster Boy (punk rock), The Kill (grunge/rock), Hate Speech (thrash metal) and Thorns of Ivory (groove metal).
Thorns of Ivory is currently number two on the Doors Rock Radio Top 20.
Supporters are urged to visit the Facebook event page: Rock Fest Ramsgate and take advantage of the reduced pre-sale ticket price of R80.
Entrance fee at the door is R100.
