Lions raise funds at potjiekos competition
Nine teams took part and Wozani Berg Gasoline was declared the winner, for the second year in a row.
The Sheppie Lions Heritage Day Potjiekos Compo 2022 was held at Port Shepstone Country Club last month.
Nine teams participated. Congratulations to Mike King and Brian Henning of Wozani Berg Gasoline who won the competition for the second year in a row.
The final results were as follows:
First place: Wozani Berg Gasoline – 87 points; second place: Cinder City Moths – 85 points; third place: Port Shepstone Lions – 77 points and fourth place: Junior Builders – 71 points.
Our grateful appreciation to the judges, Shelley Wetherill, Shelley Jones and Chrissie Wilson, as well as, all the teams who participated and everyone who supported this fun event.
A substantial amount of money was raised for charity!
