In celebration of World Animal Day this month, the Amanzimtoti SPCA’s charity shop based in Scottburgh had a fundraising bake sale which was super successful.
Supporters bought scrumptious cupcakes and muffins, made cash donations and even dropped off unwanted items which can be sold in the charity shop itself.
Shop manager Debra Sadie was grateful to everyone who contributed to the day’s success, despite the drab weather.
“Every bit of help counts,” she said.
“We are always ready to welcome more volunteers to the shop and donations of any kind (good condition) will be accepted.”
