Just in: Car catches fire in Hibberdene

The cause of the fire is unclear at this stage. 

A vehicle caught alight with the driver inside, in the Hibberdene area earlier this morning.

The fire was extinguished, and the man was treated by paramedics.

At this stage, it is unclear how the fire started.

The man sustained extensive injuries, and was transported to hospital by Netcare 911.
