Cyclist critical after being knocked down by car inland of Tweni

The man was taken to hospital for further care.

A man (24) was hit by a car while riding his bicycle down the hill approaching the turnoff to the Batstone’s Drift low level bridge over the Mzimkhulu river last Saturday morning.

Med-Evac attended to the accident scene in Louisiana.

 

Glen Preston of Med-Evac said the man was in a critical condition with fractures to his body and injuries to his head.

Once stabilised and treated, the man was taken to hospital for further care.
