Get ready for Summer Music Festival this December

It's going to be the party of the year!

Tweni residents are ending the year off with a Summer Festival of Live Music on Saturday, December 10.
And everyone is invited!

December means summer evenings are balmy and splendid to be dancing under the evening sky.

It’s going to be a huge party with an awesome line-up of live bands, with soccer and fishing on the beach.
The reason behind the event is to raise funds for Tweni Tidy Towns, to clear the bush in problematic areas in Umtentweni.

This comes after a spate of crime-related incidents which are deeply concerning for residents.

The previous Saturday, a staff member from a local Tweni business was robbed on the pathway at the end of Ambleside Road.

With this good cause in mind, get your dancing sandals on and come along to support the event to be held at The Spot Backpackers in Umtentweni from 14:00 onwards.

There will be a fantastic line-up of local bands and musicians visiting as far as from Gauteng.

Catch SA Idols finalist and contemporary singer and guitarist, Erin Fourie along with American Idols qualifier, Byron Gindra, 4 Beats and a Bar, Chewing the Hornet and Pie Squared.

Bring along family and friends as there will be a soccer tournament and fishing contest on the beach.

The soccer teams will consist of girls and boys, U9, U11 and U13.
Pre-entry for the fishing compo is R100. Various prizes for senior and junior winners.

Entry into the event is R100. Contact Justin on 082 8366234 or Lindie on 083 5579979.
