Once again, and not surprisingly, Elvira Venter Dance School put on a sterling end of the year show.
The three shows, held over two days, were all sold-out performances.
The show, titled ‘Hit The Lights’, gave new meaning to the lyrics of Christina Milian’s song AM to PM…’Somebody hit the lights, so we can rock it day and night’.
Dancers of all ages put on their best performances and it was all lights and dance moves choreographed to a great selection of music from modern to some golden oldies.
The audience watched and clapped as dancers brought out all the moves in modern, hip-hop and even contemporary dance.
The lighting, sound and backdrop together with the dancers’ costumes, were dazzling.
As always, it’s a treat to watch talented dance teachers Elvira Venter and Angie-Lee Stewart dance on stage with the students.
The coast really has an incredibly talented bunch of dancers.
