Woman dies after assault in Mandela Drive, Port Shepstone
The women were assaulted with stones and a sjambok.

Port Shepstone Saps has opened a case of assault GBH (grievous bodily harm) and murder after police responded to an incident in Nelson Mandela Drive last Thursday.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Sibu Ncane said two women were assaulted with stones and a sjambok at about 13:00.
“The women were taken to a local hospital for medical treatment and one of them died later. A post-mortem examination will determine if her injuries resulted in her death.”
The woman has not been officially identified as yet. Police are appealing to the public for further information on the assault, and information will be treated as strictly confidential.
