Two seriously injured in weekend accidents

Drivers are urged to slow down this festive season.

One person sustained serious injuries in a collision on the R61 near Margate this morning (Monday, December 19).

Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded, and when emergency services arrived they found that the driver of a vehicle had lost control and overturned.

Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that a person had sustained serious injuries.

The person was treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further treatment.

Last Saturday, Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to a collision between the R61 between Margate and Ramsgate.

When emergency services arrived they found that three vehicles had been involved in a collision, one of which was being towed.
