Plush makeover for popular hotel

Marburg's grand hotel has recently undergone a transformation of its own and there's more to come.

The Taj Hotel in Marburg is a well-known, popular landmark on the South Coast.
It has recently received an upgrade, since being bought by Bayside Hotel Group, and a ‘wow’ factor has certainly been created, especially when it comes to the guest rooms.

The refurbishments are complete – the hotel now boasts 50 en-suite, self-catering units – and the team anticipates that the transformation will better meet the needs of travellers and families looking for affordable, comfortable accommodation.

Bayside Group has ‘worked some magic’ with the refurbishment, with the hotel now boasting single and double self-catering units.

The rooms are fully furnished and feature a 42-inch flat screen TV with DSTV, air conditioning, free WiFi, modern bathrooms, luxurious beds, as well as a fridge, microwave and stove.

In keeping with its motto, Taj Hotel offers ‘best room, best rate and excellent service’.
The refurbishments have helped Taj Hotel ensure your stay is pleasant, relaxed, affordable with a home away from home feeling.

The hotel is situated only 3km from the Port Shepstone beachfront.

Guests can enjoy the many attractions the South Coast is able to offer, including beaches, golf, game reserves, restaurants, shopping malls and so much more.

It’s also only 50km from the Wild Coast Sun Hotel and Casino Resort and Wild Waves Water Park, with access to the toll road close by.

However, the hotel is not only about accommodation and there are plans in place to develop a new conference facility, kitchen and restaurant, function hall, and to give the outside a fresh look in the new year.

The Bayside Taj team is looking forward to welcoming you to its newly refurbished luxury rooms.
