Khanya Hospice, based in Umkomaas, is known for giving back to the community through free palliative nursing care and more. Due to this many people give back to the organisation as a form of appreciation, and to help hospice continue the work it does.
Two individuals from the Montclair area recently heard about Khanya Hospice and the dedicated staff, and decided to do something to help some of the patients in need.
They donated blankets, toiletries and other products needed for nursing.
“We are so greatful for this wonderful donation and may God bless all who contributed and made this possible,” said Sr Sue Van Rijsbergen, nursing manager at hospice.
