Volunteer to help the needy
People are encouraged to donate wheelchairs and walkers that are no longer needed.
Peter Fielding, better known as Scottburgh’s ‘Mr Wheelchair’, recently visited the CEO of Khanya Hospice in Umkomaas, Neil McDonald.
Hospice accepts wheelchairs and walkers that are no longer needed by patients, and if they are broken or need some TLC, they are sent to Peter who does his best to fix them for those in need.
Hospice and ‘Mr Wheelchair’ thank all those who have donated and encourage others to continue doing so as nothing goes to waste.
Volunteers are needed to help continue the work that Peter Fielding and hospice does. To find out more, contact Peter on 039 9761995 and/or Neil McDonald on 083 5978985.
