Khanya Hospice supporter, Jennifer Harihar, recently donated several adult incontinence products to the NGO to help care for its patients.
This came after she read several articles in newspapers about what hospice does, and through people talking about the good work that they do with the limited funds they have.
“She felt during this time of giving that she would like to give back to the community – and no better place to support than Khanya Hospice,” said Neil McDonald, CEO of Khanya Hospice.
“We have many many patients that are poverty stricken and can hardly afford medication, or even these luxurious adult incontinence products,” added Sr Sue van Rijsbergen. “So the Nursing staff is over the moon for the wonderful donation.”
