WATCH: #PowerToThePeopleMarch gets a wave of DA support on coast

South Coast residents joined the rest of the country in protest against South Africa's crumbling power supply.

On the South Coast – despite the rain – Democratic Alliance members, along with residents who are sick and tired of rolling blackouts and unaffordable, unfair electricity price increases, were seen brandishing placards on the roadside.

The large group of protestors was spotted at various traffic intersections, including in Hibberdene, Port Shepstone, Shelly Beach, Margate and Port Edward this afternoon.
