Couple attacked in Tweni, search on for two injured intruders

Police and security personnel are searching for the two injured attackers.

A traumatic incident unfolded at a home in the leafy suburb of Umtentweni, this morning (around 08:00).

Two residents of a home Raspberry Lane were attacked and stabbed by three intruders.

But, it’s believed the man fought back and two of the attackers were injured.

They subsequently fled.

The man and his wife were taken to hospital; it’s not certain at this stage how serious their injuries are.

Officers from Lazer 911, together with members from Saps K9 Unit, are currently searching for the men with stab wounds/injuries who fled from the scene.

They could be in the Marburg/Albersville area by now.

So far no arrests have been made.
