Decomposed body discovered during search for Tweni couple’s attackers
A manhunt by security companies and Saps pursued in search for the injured men who left a Tweni couple hospitalised.
Tweni Crime Prevention Forum (CPF) patrollers immediately started patrolling after the attack on a Tweni couple in their home this morning.
Both occupants of the house were assaulted and stabbed on the head and body multiple times.
Two of the intruders were also stabbed during the incident.
A hunt by security companies and Saps pursued in search for the injured men.
CPF Acting Chairman Beyers Le Roux said they then proceeded to the Batstone’s Drift low level bridge and walked the entire railway line all the way to the beach where we joined the R102.
This is where they discovered the decomposed body and the team from Saps K9 Search and Rescue were notified and attended.
They then proceeded to meet Karel Beetge and his K9 tracker dog, Zulu from Gladiator Security on the scene who assisted in running the spoor.
Unfortunately, no suspects were located but their escape route was determined, and this will be monitored.
