Hunt is on for men linked to hijackings in Harding, Margate

Police have appealed to the community to share any info available on these cases.

The Port Shepstone Vehicle Crime Investigation Unit is investigating two separate cases and requests the assistance of the public to locate the people in the attached identikits.

On August 23, 2022 a maroon Toyota Tazz with registration number NX45936 (which belongs to a security company) was hijacked and the driver kidnapped at a shop in Hluku, Harding.

In a separate case, on September 4, 2022 in the afternoon, a Toyota Corolla Quest was hijacked and the driver held at gunpoint at Nkothaneni location, Margate, by two men who also assaulted the driver.

The vehicles in both cases are still sought.

Police spokesman Captain Petros Mpinge said police are urgently appealing to the public to contact them if they recognise the people in the identikits, or have any information regarding the vehicles.
