Empowerment organisation brings people together

It is a platform for people to come together and share their experiences.

Empowerment Vortex Incorporated, a non-profit organisation was launched at B-Cubed Guesthouse in Southport recently.

Ansuya Perumal, the founder said she envisioned the organisation as a platform to bring together people from all walks of life, to share their stories while educating each other on how to combat challenges faced on a wide scale on a daily basis.

Themed mental health and women empowerment, the event was attended by inspirational speakers who shared their experiences and professional outlooks on common topics such as health, prioritising self-care and the importance of good mental health.

Dr Avani Singh, Tarryn Singh and Anele Ndlovu were some of the speakers who awed the audiences.

Perumal said: “This is something I have always dreamt of doing and I am thrilled at how it all came together. I would like to thank everyone who attended, the businesses and the sponsors and I look forward to hosting more empowering events that the community will benefit from.”
