Scottburgh Saps Community Police Forum recently held a meeting for the election of office bearers for the Youth Desk at the Blue Marlin Hotel in Scottburgh.
Although the elections are over, the forum still appeals to youth residing in the Scottburgh Saps policing precinct to join.
This includes youth from Cele location, Amandawe, Renishaw, Freeland Park, Scottburgh, Park Rynie, Kelso, Pennington, Sezela and Bazley.
“The Youth Desk encourages and enables young people to participate in actively identifying the cause of youth violence and crime,” explained Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Adam Francis.
