Tidy Towns is campaigning to get Margate nominated in the Kwêla – Dorp Van Die Jaar 2023 competition. Entries close today (Friday, March 17) at midday.

In terms of the Kwêla – Dorp Van Die Jaar 2023 competition, Stephen Herbst of Tidy Towns said that with the town’s current civic pride, and Tidy Towns’ clean ocean living motto, Margate will be hard to beat.

“Clean makes clean and no one makes cleaner than we do. Together we can do so much more,” he said.
