WEATHER WARNING: Thunderstorms and scattered showers expected this evening – Thursday, March 23

It's suggested one avoids travelling and crossing flooded rivers.

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has released a Level 2 warning for this evening from 16:00 onwards.

The following municipalities: Ray Nkonyeni, Umzumbe, Umdoni and uMuziwabantu may be affected.

“Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected over the southern parts of KwaZulu-Natal. Significant amounts of rainfall is expected from this afternoon to late evening that might result in localised impacts,” said SAWS.
