Radiant Life Ministries: Be of good cheer this Easter
This 'good cheer' that the scripture alludes to can only happen by accepting that salvation comes only through the Lord Jesus Christ.
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 (NKJV)
We live in what many may term dark and perilous times. Evil abounds all around. For many, the sense of hopelessness is overwhelming. Yet, despite the seeming hopelessness, Calvary brings renewed hope to those who will believe in their hearts and confess with their mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord.
The trials and tribulations that this generation has to endure are not insurmountable with God Our Heavenly Father fighting on our behalf.
This ‘good cheer’ that the scripture alludes to can only happen by accepting that salvation comes only through the Lord Jesus Christ. On Calvary, Jesus willed that through His death and resurrection, those who believe may also have resurrection and life.
Today, victory over life’s trials and tribulations is a matter of choice. I implore you therefore to accept the Lordship of Christ, to strengthen you to confront life with courage and fortitude and propel you to the destiny that God our Heavenly Father purposed for you.
