Earth Day 2023 celebrations will take place at the Ramsgate Lions clubhouse in Glenmarkie Drive, Ramsgate this Saturday from 08:00 to 13:00.
Environmental organisation, The Green Net, will talk about the power of plants to restore soil, water and biodiversity, at 11:00. Gifted artists from the Art by the Sea group have created mind-blowing artwork. It will be exhibited and for sale as a fundraiser for the Lion’s food collection.
Simultaneously, the Car Boot Sale and market will take place. Every R50 spent at the sale will qualify you to participate in a lucky draw where 10 prizes are to be won. These have been donated by local Ramsgate businesses and traders. There will be live music plus several food stalls. Lions will offer coffee/tea and cake and the cash bar is open from 10:00.
