Hibberdene beach, is one of them, which has retained its Blue Flag status for the 2022/2023 season.

The internationally recognised Blue Flag programme is an eco-award given to beaches that meet strict standards of excellence in safety, cleanliness, provision of amenities, environmental information and management.

Hibberdene’s main beach has all the beach activities needed for a fun family day! Build sandcastles in the soft sand and dip your toes in the warm ocean waters. Try surfing, bodyboarding or bodysurfing.

Snorkelling is also a popular activity, look at marine life up close and enjoy the variety of species residing beneath the waters, bring your goggles and enthusiasm and enjoy!

Many scuba divers flock to the beach for an enjoyable underwater experience, coming face to face with some of the ocean’s most interesting species. The beach offers ski boat use, allowing for adventures of a lifetime.
