Sibusisiwe Zwane won the Miss KwaZulu-Natal pageant in 2022.
Shelly Beach beauty queen, Sibusisiwe Zwane (20) is a Top 30 finalist in the Miss South Africa pageant.
She matriculated at Port Shepstone High and is a final year Bachelor of Architectural Studies student at UKZN. Her plans are to attain her Masters and PhD and open an architectural firm and construction company one day.
Sibusisiwe said she was inspired to enter Miss SA after she won the Miss KZN pageant in 2022.
“I challenged myself to serve and become a representative for South Africans, especially the youth, to be a revolutionary leader with an impact. I deserve to win this title because I’m empathetic and philanthropic, yet fierce in standing up for the things I believe in and being a voice for the voiceless and unheard. I am filled with a purpose and passion to become a champion and ambassador for my country and lead the way to a future we all can be proud of,” she expressed.

Sibusisiwe has also played her part in the community, founding a society at her university with the assistance of the Student Representative Council.
“I founded KZN Uplift which targets the social needs of the province by uplifting the youth and developing our disadvantaged communities. We do community outreach and social development programmes. Through my Miss KZN Queen reign I started Serene Sundays which is a platform where I host different pageant queens and titleholders and talk about mental health stigmas in our society.”
Her hobbies are singing, acting and drawing. She has also featured on Uzalo which airs on SABC 1.
Zwnae’s role models are Shudufhadzo Musida, former Miss South Africa, Thuso Mbedu and Michelle Obama.
Her message to girls and women: “We are strong and our strength and resilience knows no bounds. We deserve to give ourselves and each other the treatment we expect to receive from everyone else. We must be united and kind to one another because we know the struggles we go through as women,”said Zwane.
Her motto is: If you stand for nothing, you’ll fall for anything.
