Reunion for Sheppie High Class of ’83

The reunion committee is calling on all past pupils from 1983 to get in touch with them and send through their details to the reunion Facebook page.

The Class of 1983 from Port Shepstone High School is set to gather again on July 22 for its 40th year reunion.
This milestone event will be held at Mariners Restaurant in Marina Beach and is expected to be a joyous occasion, filled with memories and catching up with old friends.

Port Shepstone High School opened its doors in 1953, and this year marks its 70th anniversary, making the reunion even more special.

“We are thrilled to be celebrating this milestone reunion with so many of our former classmates,” said KZN South Coast reunion organiser, Cherie Loomes.

“It’s been 40 years since we walked through the halls of the school and we can’t wait to reminisce about old times, share stories, and catch up on each other’s lives.”

The reunion celebration will begin in the early evening with a cocktails, followed by dinner and live music.
The committee is busy planning a variety of activities to ensure that everyone has a great time.
In addition to the event on the South Coast, other celebrations are being planned in various parts of the world where former classmates are residing, including the UK, Canada, and Australia.
Details of the international celebrations will be announced soon.

The reunion committee is calling on all past pupils from 1983 to get in touch with them and send through their details to the reunion Facebook page.

“We want to make sure that every member of the Class of 1983 is invited to this special event, so please help us spread the word,” said Cherie.
