Promotion: Kitchen make-over for Gamalakhe gran

Not only was the kitchen renovated but the lounge too.

The winner of MFA Multi Furniture and Appliances kitchen makeover competition, Asanda Qalaba said it was a dream come true.

Qalaba from Gamalakhe lives with her grandmother Nomapasika Qalaba (71) and has been wishing to renovate her kitchen, as she is not working after suffering a stroke.

After the makeover.

After seeing the competition on social media, she decided to try her luck and fortunately for her, she was voted as the deserving winner of a full modular kitchen unit and appliances make-over valued at R30 000.

Qalaba said it was very exciting to hear the news and she is grateful to MFA for renovating not just the kitchen, but the lounge too. They painted the walls, did flooring, hung new curtains and gave us new couches.
MFA’s managing director Abdullah Dindar said this was a great opportunity to give back to customers. “We do business, but it is through our loyal customers that this was possible. It was a fulfilling journey for the team and it was nice to see our customers happy.”
