The Moths Remembrance Day parade at Mbango Valley Association last Sunday morning.

Mbango Valley Association held its annual Moths Remembrance Day parade which was followed by a service last Sunday.

Lew Lloyd-Evans said the event was to remember those who had died in war.

Remembrance Day serves as a time to remember those who paid the ‘ultimate price’ in World War 1, as well as veterans who have fought and died in war since.

South Africans remember all who have fought for the South African armed forces.

The red poppy has become the symbol by which this event is commemorated each year.

At the Moths service are Nerina and Gibb Hendry.
