Holiday wishes from hospice

The hospice staff are grateful for their loyal supporters.

Everybody deserves a break, and Khanya Hospice staff will finally get a chance to enjoy some of their leave over this holiday period.
The nursing staff have been extremely busy this year, particularly over the last few months.

“People come to us in the very late stages of their illness and then families and friends fall apart as it is very emotional to see your loved one deteriorating day by day,” explained Neil McDonald from hospice.

“It is very difficult, but we have dedicated staff to get everyone through it.”
Neil thanks the staff for their devotion to the NGO this year and gives out an even bigger thanks to hospice’s loyal supporters for the endless love and donations which enabled the team to continue offering their free services to those in need.

“If it was not for you and your financial contribution, we would have closed a long time ago as we are not government funded,” added Neil.

“We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and prosperous New Year.”
