For nearly 32 years, the Rotary Club of Hibiscus Coast has proudly presented the Uvongo Flea Market, a standout attraction drawing holidaymakers from across the globe to the South Coast. Visitors flock to explore local arts and crafts, often stumbling on that must-have item they never knew they needed.

Catering to a diverse audience of all ages, from the elderly to the youth, the market holds a special appeal for families due to its affordability in providing a satisfying food experience. The undercover food court offers a relaxing space to indulge in a wide array of culinary delights from numerous food stalls.

Renowned crafters from the South Coast showcase their stunning creations alongside talented newcomers, ensuring a vibrant display of exciting crafts. Resourceful traders curate a diverse selection of goods, ranging from gadgets, toys, and tools to collectibles, décor, pet paraphernalia, traditional crafts, accessories, clothing, consumables, condiments, home-baked treats, and much more.

Dubretha Oosthuizen, the Rotary project leader for the Uvongo Flea Market, expresses gratitude to the market’s loyal customers and traders, citing a highly successful Christmas season. Oosthuizen reveals plans for an upcoming night market during the Easter holidays, promising an evening of unique experiences.

The market welcomes visitors every Saturday from 08:00 to 13:00 and Sundays from 09:00 to 13:00, with extended hours until 14:00 during holiday seasons. Aspiring traders keen to join the vibrant community are encouraged to reach out to Dubretha on 083 6000962.
