“Judging by the overwhelming response there is certainly a need, and it was fantastic to see pet owners coming out in their droves to get their pets vaccinated,” said the SPCA’s Mike Davis.

Last Saturday, pet owners brought their pets of all shapes, sizes and colours to the Tweni Centre to get their jabs, and a total of 270 animals were vaccinated.

Davis said this is a wonderful number of pets vaccinated, and every little bit of revenue generated from these outreaches help to keep the society operational.

For those that still want to get their pets vaccinated the SPCA clinic is open daily from 08:00 to 16:00, and on a Saturday from 08:00 to 13:00.
