Stationery drive impacts 350 learners
Learners from various schools in Umzinto and neighboring areas received stationery kits tailored to their grade levels.
Qaasimul Ilm Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to education, recently held its eighth annual stationery drive which was a major success.
It positively impacted 350 learners in Umzinto and surrounding areas.
The stationery drive, a flagship initiative of the foundation, aimed at providing essential educational tools to learners in need.
With the support of generous donors and volunteers, Qaasimul Ilm Foundation has been able to make a significant difference in the lives of young learners, ensuring they have the necessary resources to excel in their studies.
“We are thrilled to see the impact of our annual stationery drive on the education of these young minds,” said Clr Asghar Khan, the chairperson of Qaasimul Ilm Foundation.
“Access to quality education is a fundamental right, and through initiatives like these, we strive to bridge the gap and create a positive learning environment for every child.”
The foundation is currently embarking on a tuition programme to assist learners in core subjects by qualified and experienced teachers.
The 350 beneficiaries, comprising of students from various schools in Umzinto and neighboring areas, received stationery kits tailored to their grade levels.
